Affirmations are more than just positive statements that make you feel good. Affirmations have the power to completely transform your life.

Think about it.

How we show up and what we create and manifest in life all starts with our thoughts.

Those thoughts (whether positive or negative) evoke certain feelings and emotions which then impact our actions.

When we’re feeling super successful and confident, we’ll knock that job interview out of the park.

On the other hand, when we’re feeling “less than” or incompetent, we may not even make it to the interview or presentation. And, if we do, we certainly won’t give our best because we’re not feeling our best.

With affirmations, you can actually reprogram your negative thoughts. Turning those self-sabotaging and self-defeating thoughts into powerful, motivating ones will absolutely change your world.

Today, I’m giving you 10 of my favorite affirmations from my Self-Care Affirmation Journal. I use these affirmations on a daily basis to show up as my best self and create a life I love.

What Exactly is 
Self Care?
Self-care is very trendy and popular these days. And usually brings up thoughts of lavish vacations or spa days. I'm here to tell you that you are making self-care much harder than it needs to be. Self care is:
  •  Being good to yourself by taking time out of your day to care of your mental health
  •  Having healthy coping skills in place to deal with life
  •  Setting boundaries and knowing that you are setting them to protect yourself and not to benefit others

My Why...
As a licensed therapist I noticed a lot of my clients were stumped when I asked them about their self-care practices. A lot of them didn't even know where to begin in creating a self-care routine. That led me to create this journal. This journal will provide the foundation for those who don't know where to begin with creating a self-care routine and for those who do have a routine it will help elevate your current routine.
